At 2:30 p.m. on June 20, 2025, The School of English Language and Culture held the end-of-semester teaching work conference for the second semester of the 2024 - 2025 academic year in Classroom 4220T. The conference was chaired by Xu Yang, the Director of the General Affairs Office, and Associate Dean Li Yan deployed key tasks.

During the meeting, Dean Li made arrangements for the sampling inspection of graduation theses, emphasizing that the work should be carried out in a hierarchical manner, with a strict focus on ensuring quality. She acknowledged the achievements of teachers’ external training, pointed out issues in teaching reform, and proposed a dual-drive strategy of “AI + Education” and “integration of industry and education”. The preparation for academic competitions was designated as a key focus for the summer vacation, and Dean Li required the three major workshops to formulate tutoring plans. She also clarified the “all-staff employment promotion” mechanism to build an employment bridge for students.

Xu Yang, the Director of the General Affairs Office, stressed the time, discipline, and standard requirements for final exams and paper grading.

Finally, Dean Li delivered a concluding speech, calling on all teachers to turn the arrangements into actions. The college will promote the implementation of tasks and establish a special supervision team to follow up on key work. This meeting pointed out the direction for the end-of-term teaching and laid the foundation for the college’s connotative development.
