Zhao Zheng is a professor with a PhD degree, leader of The Youth Innovation Team of Shaanxi Universities, researcher at the Africa Research Center of Xi’an Fanyi University and currently serving as Director of Translation Department I in the School of Translation Studies.

At present, Professor Zhao Zheng has published more than 20 academic papers at home and abroad. Among these publications, eight are core papers that include Cultural Translation Helps Shaanxi Go Global, Ecological Translation of Xi’an Tourism Culture under the Belt and Road Initiative, and Ecological Translation of Shaanxi Tourism Culture under the Strategy of “Going Global” for Chinese culture. Professor Zhao Zheng has presided over and completed one social science fund project in Shaanxi Province, an annual project on major theoretical and practical issues in the social sciences in Shaanxi Province, and two social science planning fund projects in Xi'an, including a key project. She has participated in the translation and publication of Selected Readings of Chinese Classics, as well as in compiling and publishing the textbook "English-Chinese Course of Practical Business Translation".

During her career, Professor Zhao Zheng has instructed students to participate in the "FLTRP Cup" writing competition and the Star of Outlook Speech Contest many times, resulting in numerous awards. She has also won several honorary titles such as excellent instructor for bachelor theses and practical reports, advanced individual, and scientific research expert.

Professor Zhao Zheng primarily focuses on teaching and researching the translation major. Her areas of interest include cultural translation, international dissemination of culture, and translation teaching. Professional foundation courses and core courses such as Advanced English, Tourism Translation, English-Chinese Translation, and English Reading, etc. These are the main courses she teaches.
